Professional Services Sales Senior Director, Arlington, VA
We are seeking a Professional Services Sales Senior Director to play a key role in the development, implementation, and execution of a targeted sales strategy within the Government and Public Sector for existing and new engagements. In addition, you will lead Marketing and Partner Relationships focused on business growth.
Professional Services Sales Senior Director Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow and shape the organization to best address the target markets of the company.
– Work with executive-level management regarding target customer business pursuits, strategies and decision making.
– Be responsible for end-to-end management of existing customer accounts and targeting opportunities to achieve the sales, margin, and growth objectives of the territory and accounts.
– Generate and develop new targeted business from beginning to end to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
– Oversee the negotiation of client contracts and work agreements.
– Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating technologies and competitive developments.
– Oversee sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Pre-Sales and Account Executives.
Partners and teaming activities:
– Develop a partner strategy that drives business and opportunity growth.
– Review partner designations (e.g., 8a status) to ensure company is positioned to respond across numerous solicitation categories (e.g., unrestricted full and open or set aside).
– Review specific contractor holders that may provide access to key customers and determine appropriate teaming approach.
Marketing activities include:
– Oversight of company website.
– Develop a plan to attend key industry and customer conferences.
– Develop and maintain marketing artifacts (delegating and collaborating as needed).
– Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on sponsored events.
– Manage marketing budget.
Business Development activities to include:
– Determine key contracts that will extend company reach across accounts.
– Provide input into the partner strategy to consider agreements that will improve and increase opportunities and probability of winning. Includes collaboration with Delivery Team to ensure opportunities and be properly fulfilled and executed.
Professional Services Sales Senior Director Qualifications:
– 10 years of experience developing, selling, and growing customer accounts.
– Writing technical proposals, presenting technical information, and presenting professionally and persuasively to inform, innovate and influence.
– Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
– Ability to work well in a fast paced, high dynamic environment with highly energized and knowledgeable teams.
– Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
– Experience with the OpenText product suite preferred or experience with similar technology solutions.
– US government clearance may be required.
– Travel to customer sites, events and offices.
